Best of Luck to Our Hotter Than Hell 100 Athletes!

The HH 100 is finally in the books!  All in all, everyone seemed to have good rides.  Sonia Soprenuk and Anita Sanders rode together and finished strong.  Tom Sanders stayed with a guy to help him with his flat, which was really nice of him to do. Ted Soprenuk took the smart route and opted for the 25 miler.  Good decision, because it got pretty hot out there! I haven't heard yet how Steve Shadix did.  He rode with a stress fracture in his foot! Lee and I both broke 5 hours in our inaugural centuries, with Lee and I unknowingly finishing seconds apart. That fire hydrant spray afterwards sure felt great, as did that cold beer! The Good:  expo, flyover, cannon start, aid stations, fairly flat course.The Bad:  about half of the ride was rough roads, the course was not scenic.  The Ugly:  masses of people made for some tight riding and there were several accidents. I finally got an answer to my 100 mile ride vs 26.2 mile run question:  as challenging as the 100 mile ride was yesterday, running a marathon is tougher
