Sat Run

Thinking about meeting at 6:15, but no one was there at that time last week.  Anyone planning on running from the parking lot this weekend, 7:30-ish pace?

Also - we seem to have a pretty robust web-site.  Is there a way to update it to show expected turnout and time for Sat runs?  I'm thinking it could have different start times, paces, and distances in a chart-like format.  Not sure what the software's capable of but here's what I'm thinking:

USERNAME TIME STARTING Distance Min per Mile
John Doe   5:30   5:45   6:00   6:15   6:30   6:45   7:00   7:15   7:30 5 8
I like to run   5:30   5:45   6:00   6:15   6:30   6:45   7:00   7:15   7:30 12 9
Owen Birch   5:30   5:45   6:00   6:15   6:30   6:45   7:00   7:15   7:30 8 7.5
Lantana Livin'   5:30   5:45   6:00   6:15   6:30   6:45   7:00   7:15   7:30 3 12

Just a thought!

So in case anyone's up for

So in case anyone's up for running casual tomorrow, I'll be there at 6:15 to run about 8.5 miles before the 7:30 group, when I'll run another 3-5 depending on who shows and how hot it is....

BTW - what's with calling out the Lantana folks?  12 minute miles!  Dang!

Sat. run

Hi "Owen,"

Many our our 7:30 pace folks are training for the Hotter N Hell 100 so it might be best to post before the date of the run to see what kind of responses you get for the Saturday run.

By the way, our website has some quirky features and some limited capabilties but if you would like to discuss your idea further, I'm open to your idea of posting a grid with the pace group info.

See you soon and thanks for your feedback,

Webmaster

aka Melissa :)

Or is that....

aka "Ruby"?     "Melissa" is too long and complicated for spectators.     Maybe this will start a Strider trend where we make up names to put on out race shirts...
