When did you start running: Grad School, 1979 until 1992; Started back up in 2000.

When did you join the Striders: May 2005

Why did you join the Striders: It’s lonely running out there all by yourself!

Best running moment: Qualifying for Boston at Dallas White Rock 2006. Believe it or not, I ran it ½ hour faster than in 1988 when I was nearly 20 years younger. Shows you what running with the Striders can do!!

My personal mantra: I need to burn off all the cake I ate!

Hometown: Born in NY, NY; Spent childhood on Long Island and Rochester, NY. Moved to Dallas in 1982.

Family information: (married, single, children): Husband Bill (former runner) and 14 year old daughter Anna who has the best singing voice of anyone I know and also runs 5Ks.

Running Goals: Run Boston next year (2008). Got injured 3 weeks before the 2007 race.
